In the year of 2006, we visited Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Natural Reserve, and Tianzi Mountain Natural Reserve. The scenic area covered many natural features including: mountains, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls .We were told that there were more than three thousand rock ridges and eight hundred ghylls. They were known as the “Original Picture on Mountains and Rivers of China” (中國山水畫的原本)and also had a nickname called “Natural Oxygen Bar”(天然痒巴) owing to its density of original forests.
